How much does it cost to refinance?

Written By: refinancing on January 8, 2010 3 Comments

My husband and I plot to refinance. What is the estimated cost to refinance? And if so, can that cost be included in the loan?

Usually it’s a smalll percentage of the refinance price and yes it can be included in your loan.

It might be a few hundred dollars including appraisal, rate lock, loan origination fees.

Every company is different so shop around. I happen to be with James B Nutter and they really have a no cost refinance program that truly is no cost, nothing rolled into the loan. The rate is a small higher that way but not much. I’ve been with them for about 5 years now and I like the company and no I do not work for them :)
